Our members come to us looking for results for many different reasons. We have helped women, get ready for their holidays, tone up for their wedding, lose weight to feel better in their clothes, build muscle to enhance their physique or to just start living a healthier lifestyle. Whatever your goals may be, we tailor our plans specifically to meet your needs. This involves having a nutrition consultation with one of our in-house nutritionists, here you will set out your fitness goals and create a food plan that you enjoy. You will then begin personal training sessions, where you will first have a consultation with one of our highly qualified personal trainers. Here, you will talk about your fitness goals and your trainer will create a plan to help you reach these goals.

Elaine’s Journey

” Although my Weight loss Journey began in July 2017 my Fitness Journey did not begin until 2018. I had back surgery in 2006 and again in 2014 which left me with nerve damage in my leg and I used that as an excuse not to be active. I had zero motivation and lacked a lot of confidence in myself but I decided I didn’t want to spend my 30s hiding away like I had in my 20s. 

I started by making small changes to my diet and gradually the weight began to fell off but after about 10 months I came to a standstill and nothing would budge. Although I had lost a significant amount of weight at this stage I knew that in order to be healthy I still had more to lose and it was at this point I decided to contact Womens Fitness and I opted to start the 6-week Kick-start plan.

For me my greatest fear was injuring my back again but The Kick-start plan provided Personal Training which has completely changed my outlook on exercise. I had joined gyms before and never stuck with them for more than a few weeks but a women’s only gym has felt like a safe, comfortable and non-judgemental environment.

 

 

The convenience of the App for Women’s Fitness allows me to plan out my weekly classes and personal training and has given me a proper routine, I have more energy and sleep much better. The support and Motivation you get on a one to one basis has been the main reason I keep coming back. The weekly weigh ins have helped keep me on track and I have an overall better relationship with food now.

 

To date I have lost over 8 and half stone, my back has never felt stronger and I ran my first 10km event last year something I never imagined I could do.

Charlotte’s Journey

I started off with the kickstart plan. The first thing I did was the weigh-in and from there I sat down with a nutritionist and I got started with a nutrition plan. I didn’t know anything about counting calories, and actually, the first week I started counting my calories it was shocking how much I was actually consuming! I then started using the nutrition plans on the Kickstart Plan, learning more about what I need to eat for my own progress. I started incorporating more protein into my diet and following all the nutrition information that they gave me. I’ve found the information I have learned from the nutrition plans has really helped me to maintain my weight loss over the last year and a half.

 

My first session was a personal training session. They were just so helpful, I went in so nervous and scared that I wasn’t able to do any of the exercises. I have a bad knee and a bad back, and from the start, they showed me how to do exercises in the best way possible for me. I flew through the session, and this really gave me the confidence to come back and progress further on my fitness journey.

 

 

After the Kickstart Plan, I continued on and I got a full year membership and also a personal training package. I was definitely not stopping with the personal training sessions, they are my favorite bit! I train with Lynsey who’s unreal and we just have a great time working together!

 

Before Womens Fitness I was that girl that skipped every P.E. session in school if I could, and now I come to the gym four or five times a week. I have so much more energy, and being more active has just had such a positive impact on my life! 

 

I’ve lost over 100 pounds in the last year and a half 2 years since I started. Everything feels better like even my skin is better from eating well on the nutrition plans. There’s no downside like I always leave here in a great mood after every workout no matter how bad a day I’ve had.  The endorphin kick is just the best thing ever!

I had struggled for years with trying to lose weight and had resigned myself to just not being able to lose weight.
